My another hide-out in Kanazawa

It is a “kappou” (Japanese style restaurant) near Ohmicho fish market.

I often go there for lunch.

It does not show a sign that they are open, so first-time customers are almost impossible to come in.

Uniqueness of this restaurant is that you don’t have to speak even one word in the restaurant.

You enter, sit on one of the chairs facing long counter table, drink a tea that lady serves you and then after for a while your lunch box is served in front of you.

In fact, they have only one kind of lunch and nobody knows what it is until it is brought to you.

That’s why I said you don’t have to speak even one word.

The name of kappou is Ishiguro. It’s located back side of Hokkoku Bank main office.
