東急エクセルホテル３階に入っている金茶寮で朝食をご馳走になった。
さすが金茶寮ってな感じの和食メニューの数々。
 

 
惜しむらくはご飯が炊きたてではなく、恐らく昨夜の残り？だったことかな。

 
金沢市内にある某ホテル。。。
新築だし、人気もそこそこ高く、なのにこんな安売りを。。。
こういうところからも金沢の宿泊業界の現状がうかがい知れる。
実はこのホテルは私にとって景気判断のメルクマーク。実に分かりやすい。

 
それにしてもこのホテル、過去にここまでの安売りをしたことはなかったはず。。。

 
 
金沢の老舗旅館、中安旅館でお客さまに召しあがって頂いている蟹はすべて地元産ブランド蟹の証明”ブルータグ”付きだそうです。

近江町市場に行けば、”ブルータグ”付きの蟹と、そうでない蟹は価格に大きな開きが生じていることがよく分かります。ですが、お味の方は。。。「そんなに違わない・・・」と仰る方も少なからずいらっしゃいます。
今朝ほど中安旅館の若旦那に「別にブルータグ付きにこだわる必要はないのでは・・・」と申し上げたところ、「いや、うちは何が何でもブルータグ付きしかお出ししません」ときっぱり。
老舗旅館のプライドなのか、料理人のこだわりなのか分かりませんが、こうしたプロ意識は今の世の中だんだん希薄になってきているように思います。
