Japanese cuisine house in Kanazawa

My little lovely niece came, so we went out to little lovely Japanese cuisine house near my office.
My Kanazawa friends have been always speaking  of this restaurant in the highest terms, so I really wanted to go and I finnaly did it.
Yes, it was so good! I totally agree with it!

Daikokuya in Kanazawa

I like this soba noodles.

“Kani Shabu”

Kanazawa people have a rich eating habit of crab.
This was something totally new for me.

Kani-miso (Crab innards puree)

Ryokan crushers brought nice white wine which goes well with “Kani shabu”.

Sake-tasting event in Kanazawa

My private sommelier invited me to a  Sake-tasting event which was held right behind of my office.
Professional Sake specialists and drinkers were tasting many kinds of sake with serious face.

This was the most expensive one.
I tasted it and liked it, but of course I don’t really understand the sake.

Kanton – Chinese Restaurant

My lunch today. As soon as this dish was brought in front of  me I knew it is good.
I love”Tenshin Han” but I don’t like it with sour and ketchup taste.

“Tenshin Han” – Fried egg with thick Chinese soup sauce on rice

Ryokan Crushers

It is always almost 10pm for the Ryokan crushers to get together and move out.
Ryokan crushers are supposed to crush Ryokan and have a party with some leftovers from their dinner!

 ”Nodoguro” – Yummy!

Daikon Zushi & farmented Saba – Yummy!

“Tsuru” – Yummy!

French lady – Funny!

Cod’s sperm

Cod’s sperm with Ponze! It looks gross, but it is so good!
You will miss it soon from the market another week or so.
It is a winter food in Kanazawa. Don’t miss it!

My private health doctor

I seriously needed a good rest.
My private health doctor drove me far away from Kanazawa and suggested me to join them.
After having such a hot spring cure, we had a little wild dinner together in Kanazawa.
That’s how I recovered health now.
